DR. JOHN NICHOLLS BOOTH

I have been very fortunate to work with Dr. Booth on a variety of projects. In 1984 he graciouscly accepted the arduous task of being a co-editor of my book on the bullet catching stunt.

We've met at his home in California, backstage at The Magic Circle in England and as honored House Guests at The Oban Inn at Niagara on the Lake, Ontario in his native Canada.
A rare photo of Booth, the magical artist , circa 1935.
With Sir Edmund Hillary in New Zealand
John Booth was even on stage with me at a casino during the horrific accident I endured when I was wounded performing the bullet catch in 1993.

Our first meeting in London, 1986
I perform my favorite trick "the Bankok Bills" for Dr. Booth on his 78th birthday in Los Angeles.
In 1990 my work with Amy Janello to index the first 25 years of his memoirs, which ran in the magician's magazine The Linking Ring, was published.

Dr. Booth has written well over a million words in his esteemed career, and I am sure there have been at least a million words written about him. But for more information about the amazing John Booth, click here.
